Newsletters

In the past we have produced newsletters each term to keep all our pupils and their families up to date with what we are doing at the Classical Dance Studios.

With the introduction of this web site we are hoping to be able to produce newletters on a more frequent basis and would welcome news stories from any of our friends for inclusion in this section of our site.

Spring Newsletter

Term Dates

The summer term will commence on Monday 24 April, and end on Monday 17 July inclusive.

Half term will be Monday 29 May to Saturday 3 June inclusive.

Summer School

Unfortunately, due to the late finish of some schools’ summer term, we are unable to run our Summer School this year.  We do intend to re-instate this popular event during the summer of 2007.  We hope to distribute a questionnaire to establish pupil’s opinions shortly.  Your feedback will help us enormously.

Noticeboard

Please be sure to check the noticeboard regularly as it is our main way of communicating with you.  With the school having over 250 pupils, it is not practical to send letters out, to keep you informed.

Payment of fees

Please note that fees MUST be paid by the second week of term, or you/your child/ren may be excluded from class.  We are reluctant to carry out this practice, but with a few pupils still not paying on time, we have been forced to adopt this policy.

Giving Notice

It is very important that, in accordance with our terms and conditions, at least one full term’s notice of the intention to remove a student from the school is given in writing. This MUST be received by the beginning of the first class of the final term. You will receive confirmation that notice has been received.  Without the required notice, a term’s fees must be paid in lieu of notice.

Exams

We have just completed an exam session in which several pupils took part.  We look forward to passing on the results to them as soon as we have received them.

Dancewear

Please ensure all dancewear is clearly marked with your child’s name.  If items are removed, it is very difficult to identify to whom they belong in order to return them to their rightful owner!

It just remains for us to wish you all a very Happy Easter!
